About This Blog / Disclaimer

Reading the Fine Print is about Intellectual Property and technology.  I am an intellectual property attorney practicing in Seattle, and this blog is just one part of my online presence.  I will post here when I have more than a quick comment to make on an issue, but I will mostly share news and commentary on my Twitter feed (@DavidPSheldon) and on Google Reader Shared Items.  There’s more information about me on my LinkedIn profile, available here.

Pursuing and protecting IP rights puts dinner on the table, so my commentary is likely to be more pro-IP than 90% of the other sites out there.  Hopefully, this means we can have some good conversation.  More likely, it means either no one will read this, or our comment threads will be nothing but snark.  You know, just like 90% of the other sites out there.
